Associate Instructor of Dueling Arts International

 

Having studied martial arts since childhood and fencing saber on his college fencing team, Kevin took a strong interest in stage combat and stunt work.  Kevin has served as the stage combat choreographer for over fifty professional and academic productions and the stunt coordinator for a number of student and professional films.  He has worked with the Frank Sinatra Opera Workshop, the Long Beach Playhouse, Ghost Road Theatre Company, Unseam'd Shakespeare, Waynesburg College, Tisch School of the Arts, Carnegie Mellon University, and the Workshop Theatre, among others.  Shows choreographed include Richard III, 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, King Lear, 'Night Mother, A Streetcar Named Desire, Cabaret, The Pirates of Penzance, Othello, and many, many Romeo and Juliets.  His choreography has included everything from rapier and dagger to katana, from unarmed to guns, from battles axes to lightsabers, and everything in between.
